The Poitrel coal mine is a part of BMC, an 80:20 joint venture between BHP and Mitsui and Co. We have announced a Share Sale and Purchase Agreement to divest our 80 per cent interest in BHP Mitsui Coal (BMC) to Stanmore Resources. 2006 The mine was opened in 2006. 4.13Mt In FY2020, Poitrel achieved record production of 4.13Mt.
